Album of self-portraits, author’s manual, art catalog; 180 pages leaves space for 89 of the most well-known self-portraits made by great masters of painting and photography starting from the XVI century.
A manual autonomous from editorial fees, pretentious, oversized like its owner. The necessity of showing and being shown, of being revealed and being remembered. A Narcissus that hides behind social standards, to reveal later on in all its mighty in the intimate solidity of generated reflection . An obsessive research of himself and others, a story of submission and dominance. The will of a needed union to a reality beyond me  that becomes, after all, MY WORLD.
A perfection that finds its meaning with my participation to such a cataloguing and storage ritual. The viewer’s desire, even hid to itself, emerges and fades away in the reflection of that mirror. The need of inclusion, admiration and self-celebration finally results free; free to whom? And what?
